It sould be as this has gyro but I have no clue how to use it in games.

I did try that later on but was throttling even with a cooing pad. So I settled on LM and a cooling pad and now my scores and performance are back to normal. However, I still have higher temps than when I got the laptop which is annoying. But it was my choice to mess with it so I have no one to blame but myself.

Ah, so that's why my performance went up a bit after getting rid of the furnace thing. But yeah they need to fix that. Perforance also seems to tank when you get to the Cerulean Coast probably from all the water.

It does feel like they took a bit from that game to make this one.

Yea most AAA titles dont run well on this. But Elden Ring seems to do okay. I only really rune farm on my Steam Deck in this game. Then play for real on my desktops.

I have found that to work quite well. I generally play indies and old games I didn't play from my backlog. I leave all the hard-to-run AAA titles for my desktops.

Yep, it's not the most FPS but it's more than playable and I'm just happy I don't have to turn everything too low just to get playable frames like in some AAA titles.

It was getting a pretty consistent 60 though every once in a while a little stutter but it did not look slow to me. Though I don't play many fighting games, maybe it is slow and I just don't know it.

I could definitely do that. Although all I really did. Was downloaded it off of steam and installed and hit play.

It gets about 240-250 FPS in that game with low settings at 3440x1440.

I love Steam sales. I'll probably grab a few more games that I have been eyeing as well when the sale comes. As well as some games to make videos on.

I was on the latest stable update.

Thank you very much and thank you for the sub I greatly appreciate it. It still has a little small stutter every once in a while but nothing that would get me killed. I remember when the game first came out one of my PCs would freeze up for a second every time I had an attack incoming or outgoing making it basically impossible to play. So I'll take a small amount of stutter over that any day. Though of course I'd prefer butter smoothness but most games just don't do that anymore.

@@Fb-lg-101 I honestly would but then I'd have to get rid of the armory crate and mine's been working really well and don't want to have to get rid of it. Someone else was having that issue and reinstalling the application fixed that.

It's got some G.SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series 6400Mhz RAM but I clocked it at 6000mhz and tightened the timings.

That should be pretty awesome. Though I imagine they will be pretty pricey when they launch.

Lol, I'm honestly not sure it could just be the regular temp. The desktop 7000 Sires CPUs ( besides the ones with V-Cashe) run at pretty high temps too. I used to have a cooling pad on it but it did not make that much of a difference. So I put the cooling pad on my Asus G15 Advantage.

Unfortnalty that don't work on this laptop. The USB-C port is just for video out and whatnot it can't do e-gpus.

I dont think that has happend to me as of yet. Though Armory Crate can sill be a little buggy some times. Have you tried reinstalling the program?

The 6800m is a 6700 XT that is in a laptop and the 7900m is kinda strange and seems to be its own thing its in-between a 7800 XT and a 7900 GRE.

I believe that laptop only has a 3050 this laptop has a 6800m which is a little faster.

Glad to still have some of my old-school subscribers watching my videos. I feel like some people don't like all the posts as I usually lose 3-5 subs any time I do videos on a new game. But I also typically have 8-10 subscribe over the next few days so it all works out.

I actually went back to LM the pads could deal with the heat in my case. So I went LM and cooling pad and finally got pretty decent performance. It still does not have as much performance as the people who tinker with the RAM and undervolt and all that but I'm just happy to be back to the way I had it before. Though will still be a little higher temps than I had when I first got it.

I'd say a 7900XTX or a 4080 Super would be great or a 7900XT or a 4070 Super would be great too if the first options are too much for that monitror.

I though that might be the case but I just upgraded my RAM and there was only a small amount of surface dust in there.

I mostly run the latest drives since I'm always making videos and need the latest updated driver. Lots of times Armory crate just doesn't work correctly. Does your GPU still work normally besides not being seen in the program?

@@XxViciousxX The GPU works normally and stable, but the GPU information was visible in the old version driver (February 2024). I installed the latest version drivers from the AMD website. Only processor information appears in the program, no GPU. By the way, I just started using the device. I bought it from my friend.

@@XxViciousxX Also, to make the laptop run cooler, I play games on manual 55W and 165W, the fps does not change, the device runs very cool.

You can if you use the Dell drivers that are about 4-6 months old on average otherwise you get random black screens. So I negate that by using the external monitor. Also the few times I got it work it was just too hard to get footage of the laptop screen ( at least where people can actually see anything.

I should have done that but my application of the previous LM was terrible so it wouldn't have been a fair test.

@@XxViciousxX Absolutely understandable. What I'm dying for is more tests of comparing PTM7950 to Liquid Metal at highest performance. My laptop came with Conductonaut on both chips, but pump out and oxidation is a fucking bitch and I don't want to deal with that. I just want a one-and-done paste for the next five years, instead of every 5 months.

Or if something similar happened to you, and how you fixed it... I'm a little worried, but I know it's software, only Armor Crate doesn't allow you to change or configure the fans separately.

I haven't had anything like that happen but I do know lots of programs are kind of buggy. As long as games see my GPU I'm happy lol. But I don't think I have the recovery image I'd have to look at where would it be located if I were to have it?

@@XxViciousxX HI! Actually something quite similar happens to me, as long as my games detect it it's fine, but the Asus "Armoury Crate" software is what allows the "manual mode". Maybe it's not much of a difference, but I've achieved a little more performance with certain things hahaha... It would be in Drive "C", Root Directory, Recovery... or in some folder in C: that is from Asus... I'm honestly not very sure... but I know it exists. Thank you very much for answering.

It's been a while since I did this video. But I think I hit that cog wheel settings button before starting the game and set a controller scheme that turns the joysticks into the mouse curser along with assigning the rest of the buttons to various tasks.

I have not tested that game yet on that laptop I think it was still down when I did that game on the rest of the PCs. I should go do that game for the G15 advantage and see if I can get it to work.

That does sound a little low so it could be throttling a little bit. Not as bad as mine was though mine would go down to 1.3ghz lol. But fixed it by finally doing an okay job on the LM and putting that Lalno cooling pad under it.
